Going Plastic Free for July
More than ever, people across the UK are aware of how their actions impact our environment. In fact, the recent Covid-19 pandemic has been a catalyst, with 53% of councils believing that residents are now more concerned about the climate crisis than they were before.
Plastic Free July is a global movement that aims to tackle the challenge of plastic pollution and, here at Ameo, we’re aiming to help make a difference. Some of our team have set themselves the goal of reducing, or even removing, their plastic usage for the month, in the hope of creating new habits.
We’ve asked our team to keep a diary of their plastic usage and to record the challenges they found in sticking to their goal. We’ll be sharing these each week, along with tips and tricks to help encourage others to make a change.Back to news
